    The Bright On LED mask allows you to customise your LED light combinations to achieve optimal results. We recommend the below LED Combinations:

    SKIN REJUVENATION AND ANTI-AGEING:

    Red & Near-Infrared: This LED light combination is associated with stimulating the formation of collagen and elastin, helping to reduce the signs of ageing. Red light helps promote collagen production, while Near- Infrared light penetrates deeper to enhance rejuvenation.

    OILY, PROBLEMATIC OR HYPERSENSITIVE SKIN:

    Blue & Red: This combination can help soothe problematic skin. Blue light has antibacterial properties to promote a clearer complexion, while red light aids in soothing inflammation and signs of ageing. It's beneficial for individuals with oily or problematic skin who may also be concerned about signs of ageing.

    *Please note you will see purple as the two lights together create a purple hue.

    IMPROVING TONE & TEXTURE:

    Blue & Near-Infrared: This combination can help improve the overall tone and texture of the skin. Blue light promotes a clearer complexion, while Near-Infrared light can enhance the skin's texture and appearance.

    We have selected the 3 wavelengths that have been studied in independent clinical studies supporting LED Phototherapy as the ones consistently delivering significant results. Blue (e.g., 415nm), red (e.g., 633nm), and near-infrared (e.g., 830nm) (Ablon, 2018; Kim & Calderhead, 2011; Zheng et al., 2020).

    DOES IT CONTAIN BLUE UV LIGHT?

    No, The Airyday Bright On LED Facial Mask does not use any UV LEDs, making it a safe and non-invasive skincare option.

    HOW MANY LEDS IN THE MASK?

    Airyday Bright On LED mask features 108 Bulbs each with 4 LED lights. That brings the total to 432 LED lights. Blue 415 nm x 108 LEDS, red 633 nm x 108 LEDs and NIR 833 nm x 216 LED.

    IS AT-HOME LED THERAPY AS EFFECTIVE AS IN-CLINIC LED THERAPY?

    In-clinic LED therapy is usually more powerful and may yield quicker results due to professional-grade equipment. However, with regular and proper at-home use, you can achieve similar results. The Airyday Bright On LED mask complements your in-clinic treatments, extending the benefits and maintaining the progress achieved during your professional sessions

    I HAVE SENSITIVE EYES WILL THE MASK BE OKAY TO USE?

    The Bright On LED mask has been tested and conforms to international eye safety standards IEC/EN 62471. However, eye protection is provided for an added layer of safety and for your overall comfort and convenience.

    WILL IT INCREASE MY PIGMENTATION?

    Although some clinical studies suggest that red and near-infrared light wavelengths can improve melasma, it's crucial to note that the Airyday Bright On LED Mask hasn't undergone melasma-specific testing. While we haven't conducted such tests, existing clinical research shows that red and near-infrared LEDs, using the same gold standard wavelengths as our mask, may effectively address pigmentation. We advise against using blue light, as it could potentially worsen melasma and pigmentation. For personalised guidance on managing these concerns, consult your health care provider.
