Bernadette Crosbie NP
Bernadette's journey in healthcare began growing up behind her family's GP Medical Centre, inspired by her doctor father and nurse mother. After obtaining her Enrolled Nurse qualification in 2005, she completed her first university degree at Deakin in 2006.
As a Registered Nurse, Bernadette gained experience in hospitals and community settings, developing a passion for general practice and building lasting relationships with patients. Her diverse expertise includes cosmetic medicine and skin cancer treatments, and she completed a Graduate Diploma of Mental Health Nursing at ACU in 2016.
Bernadette, a qualified yoga teacher and pilates enthusiast, prioritises continuous learning through international conferences and regular training. In 2021, she achieved a significant milestone by becoming an AHPRA Endorsed Nurse Practitioner after completing her Masters at Flinders University.
While practicing independently, Bernadette collaborates with a network of clinicians, including doctors and specialists, providing support when needed. Her unique skill set allows her to assist in a patient-centered multidisciplinary approach.
As an active member of professional organisations, Bernadette prioritises ongoing education and peer support. Holding AHPRA registration she is dedicated to delivering timely and appropriate care for her patients' diverse health requirements.
